Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Our Commitment
TechRadar360 is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our website is inclusive and accessible to the broadest possible audience.
2. Accessibility Standards
We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including:
- Blindness and low vision
- Deafness and hearing loss
- Limited movement and motor impairments
- Speech disabilities
- Photosensitivity and seizure disorders
- Learning disabilities and cognitive limitations
- Combinations of the above
WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance addresses four core principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR).
3. Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features on TechRadar360:
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Use Tab to navigate between links and controls, and Enter or Space to activate them. Press ? to view all keyboard shortcuts.
- Semantic HTML:Our pages use proper heading hierarchies (<h1> through <h6>), landmark regions (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>), and ARIA labels to help screen readers navigate content effectively.
- Alt Text for Images: Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Resizable Text: All text can be resized using browser zoom controls without loss of content or functionality. Our layout supports up to 200% zoom.
- Skip Navigation: A "Skip to Main Content" link is available at the top of each page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation.
- Focus Indicators: Interactive elements display visible focus indicators for keyboard users, making it clear which element is currently focused.
- Consistent Navigation: Navigation menus and interactive elements maintain consistent placement and behavior across all pages.
- Multimedia Alternatives: Video content includes captions or transcripts where available. Audio content includes descriptive text alternatives.
- Form Accessibility: All form fields include proper labels, error messages, and instructions. Forms can be completed and submitted using only a keyboard.
